Elounda Boat Rentals

Great experience renting the boat for four hours. Plenty of time to head to Spinalonga Island (shame we couldn’t dock there) up along the coast before anchoring in the bay and having a great time jumping in the water and swimming. Can’t recommend enough.

This boat was "well-loved" The cushions and sun hood had tears ( some fixed some not), the sunshade was a patchwork quilt of sorrow, and the frames were held together by what I can only assume was a prayer and some strong adhesive tape Still, for the price, you could say we got exactly what we paid for. A nice day out with them proving a cool box and info where to go was a nice touch. Also included was 2 masks and one snorkel for the four of us. No worries as we had our own anyway. The life vest looked new .a little map to show where you can and can't go with advise on best spots The only real barnacle on this otherwise memorable pleasurable trip was one particularly salty staff member. While his colleagues were delightful, this gentleman seemed to believe that shouting at paying customers was the pinnacle of good service. First, he yelled at me for a momentary, accidental button-press—a heinous crime, apparently. Then, he serenaded the entire returning queue with his booming displeasure -not that anyone was doing anything wrong. His customer service skills were so bad, they made the boat's condition look five-star. His blatant disregard for his employer's business was frankly impressive. Seriously, if he worked for me, his career would've sunk faster than a lead anchor. Had he been like the others it would have been a 4*

Wonderful little boat hire place. We had a two hour trip around Spinalonga and the peninsula including great snorkelling stops in lovely blue lagoons. Water, snorkelling gear and towels provided. We were dropped off at an excellent restaurant in Plaka that they recommended and kindly booked for us. We had a wonderful evening there. Birgitt and Jannis so helpful. Different size boats to hire with/out skipper (very easy to launch/moor), and a variety of water sports available too, eg SUP, kayak, water skiiing, pedalo,doughnut ride…

Top notch service. We were on the Mariah.private boat for my family of 5. I was hesitant because of the low reviews. I was in contact with Angelos by email for 2 months. He was the owner of the rentals. You may want to contact him early so he can tell you what days are better with low winds and adjust your itinerary to the winds. Our skipper was George. He loved to talk about the Greek history. He was philosophical and a true believer of nature. He loves his job and our family loved listening to him speak. He took us anywhere we wanted to go. It was pretty windy but we still managed to get to several beaches reachable mostly by boat. We were early enough to make it to another beach before the tour boats came. We stayed by seagull island for a bit. It was Lovely 4 hour day.

Great little self drive boat hired for 2 hours. It was a very windy day (22/09/24), but the suggestions of where to go were great. Lovely people and would recommend. Good advice and instruction on boat usage. Good price too we thought. I did email ahead for to say we were coming fyi 😊

Wonderful owner who was happy to help us when we had to cancel our reservation even once the trip commenced. Very friendly and welcoming. Great prices. Very good quality of the equipment. Strongly recommend!
