The Moorings: Athens Yacht Charters

Terrible experience. The boat captain had no idea what he was doing. He sped back to Athens after a hurricane to get the boat in on time. Dude, ask for a few hours grace to let the waves subside! We all threw up violently all the way back. He also had no idea what to do with us during the rain. Sat for 4 days in port on that gd boat. In the end they coerced us into paying for a big meal at a fancy restaurant in Athens for them. I will never go back to Greece. This company hires incompetents.

We had an incredible family vacation in Greece with the Moorings. Our captain and our chef were absolutely wonderful! They showed us the best time! Our boat was in great shape and very comfortable. I would do this trip over and over again!!

We recently completed a 7 day sailing trip using The Moorings. Our trip was extraordinary. Our Captain, George Alevizos made the trip one for the books. And, Mike Vorradakis, Athens Base Manager, accomodating and cool! Our trip consisted of visiting Poros, Milos, Polyaigos, Sifnos, Kythnos and Sounio where we say the Temple of Poseidon. I can't wait to sail again with Captain George!

We loved our sailboat charter with The Moorings! It was the best way to travel between the Saronic Islands. Our skipper, George, was amazing and he really made our trip the best it could be. The only thing I would change is I wish we had been put in touch with our skipper before our charter so we could discuss our itinerary and what we were looking to get out of our vacation. Other than that, it was one of the best vacations we have ever been on!

I forgot clothes on board yesterday and although I was quite far from the boat Georges VII Vinos came running after us to give it back to me. He even took the time to put it in a bag so that I wouldn't be embarrassed. I thanked him of course but I wanted to say to the Mooring office how lucky they are to work with people that care about the clients. Efkharîsto
