After more than 10 bookings trough Boataround, we chartered Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 479 | Yolo via Boataround platform again, and the experience with Exploreseas was extremely disappointing. Check-in was chaotic and delayed by 7 hours. The boat had serious maintenance issues: unusable toilets, faulty sails, deflating dinghy, and broken outlets even during the engine runs. They also tried to overcharge us for extras already included and withheld €150 from our €3,000 cash deposit without any documentation and still didn’t provide any documents to be submitted for the claim to my insurance company Pantaenius. Definitely do not recommend any experience with them. Even more they insist that I am the bad guy and if I would be a nice guy the issue would be resolved much faster … This is my experience and hope next one will not face any of those. Btw the dinghy was not fixed for the next guests 🙂
Wonderful experience!! We are owners as well as charter clients. So we know what to look for and we know what we want when we come to Greece. When we wish to charter a larger boat or, as often, we wish to charter for friends so we can flotilla together - we use Exploreseas. They are an excellent charter each and we have a great experience every time we come to this company. Andreas and Theo are the most professional charter hosts we have encountered. The boats are immaculate! The prices super competitive. But the reason we are return customers is the service! If you need anything, have any problem, require any guidance or assistance - you call Andreas; and he is there to arrange it. No waiting, no time lost - he is there. Such friendly and professional service is rare these days! For us - they are the best! Hugely Recommended.
