I don’t usually write reviews, but in this case I felt I should. I’ve been renting boats for many years, in Greece and abroad, and I can honestly say that my experience with seastar sailing was among the best I’ve ever had. From the very first contact, the communication was very professional. Everything was clearly explained, and there were no hidden surprises or unnecessary complications. When we arrived, the boat we rented dufour 390 ''alexia'' was in perfect condition and clearly cared for with attention to detail. It’s rare to find a company that maintains its boats to such a high standard. The team at the marina was perfect, the base manager made sure that we have everything that we need before we leave and the person who we did the check in was very professional and knowledgable and he answered all of our questions. We spent a wonderful trip, everything went perfectly, and the whole experience left a very positive impression. In my opinion, they are an example of how a professional charter company should operate. I will definitely rent from them again and highly recommend them!!!!

I’ve been renting boats for 30 years, but this was honestly the best experience I’ve ever had! Seastar sailing completely exceeded my expectations, the boat was in impeccable condition, spotless, perfectly maintained, and even tho the boat was a 2020 model she looked like she is brand new. You can immediately tell that this company truly cares about the quality of their fleet and the comfort of their guests. From the moment we arrived, everything was handled professionally and they helped us with everything that we needed. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole process effortless. It’s rare to find a company that combines such high standards with genuine hospitality. We had an amazing week. I can confidently say that this company sets a new standard for boat rentals, nothing else I’ve tried even comes close. I definitely recommending them to everyone!

SeaStar at Alimos Marina provided an outstanding experience. I chartered a yacht in August 2024. Their rigorous skipper selection, thorough boat handover, and professional support during the trip were impressive. It was reassuring to see their team actively assisting other boats at sea. With a modern, well-maintained fleet equipped for the challenging Cyclades waters, they proved to be highly reliable.

Our experience in August 2025 was outstanding from end-to-end. The team's professionalism was exceptional, providing a wealth of information during a seamless check-in process, which continued all the way through to our check-out. Lack of Fairness and Transparency: We returned the yacht in great shape and reported the small issues we caused. However, SeaStar Sailing deducted money for what seemed like normal wear and tear, and tried to blame us for even more damage that was clearly due to neglected maintenance. Thankfully, we pushed back and got those charges removed. The contract is stacked against the client, and the charges are excessive. Overall, it felt like they were looking for ways to take our deposit. Not a company I’d trust again.

Outstanding Charter Experience with Seastar Sailing (Alimos, Athens) We chartered a Dufour 39 "Delta" (built 2018) from Seastar Sailing through a German agency. We’ve been chartering for several years, but this was honestly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. Our trip ran from November 1st to 7th, 2025, and we were the last crew of the season – yet the boat looked and felt as if it was just starting! Everything was spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped. Seastar Sailing clearly places great value on safety and solid seamanship. The boat was equipped far above average: Lifelines on deck EPIRB (Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon) Active AIS system Fire blanket in the galley Fire extinguisher in the saloon, easily accessible Sailing knife and plumb line at the helm Anchor buoy Extra straps to protect mooring lines from chafing on rocks Thorough safety briefing and checklist during handover Many thoughtful details made life on board exceptionally pleasant: Excellent printed Skipper’s Guide – very informative for both skipper and crew Snorkeling gear in various sizes Like-new galley equipment and a modern sliding refrigerator Knife sharpener (finally sharp knives on board!) Inverter Eight service batteries plus solar panels – never a power issue Cockpit table lamp (plug-in) Eight fenders with covers and two ball fenders Neat, modern interior – everything in near-new condition Staff consistently friendly, easygoing, and helpful Thorough boat handover and quick check-in Deposit released immediately after return The boat’s condition was excellent A fantastic week overall – a great boat, wonderful people, beautiful country, and amazing food. Highly recommended! We’ll definitely be back. ⛵🇬🇷
